New mode : Blood Lines

Someone know the game bloodlines for playstation?
i think would be so cool a gamemode for soldat.
I made some pics to explain the mode, there he go.

For a fair play, play in a mirrored maps and at least with 4 white flags (or other color).

So, each players starts at hes spots and the first thing to do is get the "star power"(example name and object).
So who gets the "star power" is the only one who can "cap".

And the oponent team must kill him to get back the "star power" to "cap" to blue or red.

And who touch all flags to hes color, wins.

Only 2 teams in game Alpha and Bravo. 8)

Another example, no "star power", minded to a black flag.

even though you explained it very well and it's a pretty OK idea this would be a gamemode that barely anyone would want to play because for soldat, being a super-fast-paced game, it's too complicated.  When you kill the star-guy, does he drop the star or does the star go to the killer?
I do kidna like it and i would personally play it because it's rather unique compared to other gamemodes, but not many people like this kind of team-game.  CTF is as teamly as it goes.  Unfortunately not many people play HTF or even INF because they are lame if you don't play as a team.
If this game were to be played in such a small map it's too much of a matter of luck to win since it's so small - and playing on a map that's huge would make it hard for a team to find the enemy's star-guy.  Also, this promotes a lot of flag camping!

SO?, play in small maps then, the bloodlines game its only 1 vs 1 and tag team so i dunno wat is the best option team or 1 vs 1 and when we kills the star guys, the star drops like rambo bow
anyway, wat u mean with the flag camping? no ones catch flags, only touch the flag to stay red or blue. and of course if you guys play in realistic mode of course is more hard

None of these new gamemodes catch on very well, and I'm starting to get a little tired of reading new suggestions all the time.  But I do have to say that this is the best explained and visually supported idea that thas been presented in a long time.

i disagree with all of you...this would  be good for 1v1 battles when people are getting bored. More than 2v2 would be annoying IMO but a 1v1 or 2v2 would bee sweet with this.
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

The first thing i thought of when i read the title "blood lines", i thought of vampire the masquerade.... :P

Nevertheless the idea sounds good.. though the edges on ít need to be abit smoothed up.... ;D

ABSOLUTELY not.
This would probably require tons of Soldat elements to be recoded ,and besides, it's too complicated.
Just no. I mean, it doesn't even sound that fun, and it's a lot like pointmatch.

well, BloodLines is a old game for playstation so i called bloodlines because the gameplay
and the PointMatch is completly diferent come'on!
 anyway, tat map is just to show the example :P

hmm, with the addition of a black flag it might be more feasable.  However, I'll bet you plenty people will just camp at flags making it close to impossible for the other team's member to convert it.  So having many flags around will be worthless if one will always be camped...

this is WAY too complicated, and everything pointmatches don't have in common with this, HTF or Rambomatch does. You're pretty much just adding Rambo elements to CTF. NO.
It would take too much time and effort, and you're adding new graphics, objects, and elements. I mean, what's with the alpha tails on the players? Why have that in only that gametype, anyway? This would have to be its own game to be plausible.
Soldat has enough gametypes, and all are fun enough, Not only is this too difficult to add, it's pointless because the 6 or 7 gametypes Soldat already has are suitable.

no, in small maps, with weapons,no modes and 1 sec of respwn, its not a problem play this mode
and play only with 2 flags its too fast, so minium will be 4, max 6

its a good iea, but you'll haveta re-code the whole soldat program, new objects, adding to Polyworks and MM, much much more, its a good idea, but not good enuf.

it remines me of a mode thats on Unreal 04 where it has to do with control Nodes...if i understood correctly its the same thing
