Trenchwars

I don't know if this is the right place for it, but it's a suggestion about Soldat, so here goes:

I played trenchwars a while ago and really liked it.  It should have a homepage or something where you can download maps and graphics mods.  If it does have a homepage, what is the URL?

There's no homepage for it yet, and I really dont think it needs one.  It's just a brand of ctf maps.

I've never even tried trenchwars, what is it? Is it like close range combat in trenches, instead of flying around as usual? Sounds interesting.

Anyway, trenchwar was developed by avarax, and I suppose he'd have a few links for the maps on his homepage. That's assuming he has a hp, ofcourse.

Just search for the maps in the map release section.

just like cs and de maps, there should be a type of servers that host only tw (trench war) maps.  set with realism and survival it would prove most ideal.
Realism for one because it makes it more realistic like trenchwar to get the effect out, and survival mode so that you don't have a bunch of people just constantly trying to storm and then be respawned.

I believe trenchwar maps, though ctf, start with tw_somemap  .....instead of ctf_somemap. Have a look around.

As for graphical mods, whatever takes your fancy I guess. I imagine some of the ww2 styled mods set the mood. Can find it all with a bit of rummaging in the mapping and modding forums below this one.
