Throwing flag?

Since the introduction of the last version I've been seeing people throwing flags around and it seems like a good thing when your low on health but noone has bothered answer my countless questions of how they do it. I've looked at the controls and there doesn't seem to be a key for it so how the fuck is it done?

And you can throw it far if you run and jump when you do. flamer will boost it too!

From what I have seen... the flag usually goes to a close team member... it will only do its own thing if not many peeps are nearby.

i think thats just common sense if your low in health and you have a nearby teammate that could assist you.Then yea i think it pretty much common sense.
