I'm hardly a hermit or pathetic and lonely. You don't even know me. Infact, the bulk of comments I make about that kind of thing are jokes. I don't even see how this is relevant when all I tried to do is bring this to the peoples attention, and from what I can see, it was worth it. People needed to know and it didn't look like Bricks or Chakra want it out. Now they're dealing with it as best they can but it's just shown that people seem interested.

Didn't I already give you rules for quoting scripture to me. Yes I did. Well it just irks me to see posts being edited when they really shouldn't be. I mean, it was funny when Chakra edited those links posted by the advert bots, and such. But when an admin uses his power to insult people or do what happened right here with Dan, i think it crosses the line.

As for the rest of my post, i stand by it. 6 pages of this with almost all the major members voicing at least one of their concerns strikes me as a pretty big event.

I understand that it seems i'm stirring the pot, but i think it's already been stirred to the max. I think it'd be worse if nobody bothered to voice their opinions on such matters... You can't keep these issues bottled up so tightly.

Pretty much all there is to it luv. He lurks around here, providing the forums with a little half-baked witty remark to some unsuspecting visitor leaving a dopey remark to be mocked like a vulture, then all of a sudden becomes 'serious' about a subject like this he's been spoon fed?

Alas my inner child likes to vent it's unique method of providing a perspective on matters, sometimes in the manner of editing a nitwits post. I cannot control it anymore than I can control Bricks evil despotic powers using the Force of the universe to take over the galaxy. Otherwise, MilkmanDan isn't here for the 'justice' ....just the drama, as he admits. The thrill of shock and contest through opinion. Unfortunately wishing Bricks that he died of his cancer when he had it (as he 'joked about' in PM) and repeating the same bias over and over in a crescendo doesn't make me take him anymore seriously. Even with all the proper spelling and neat paragraphs. Really impressive btw.

Most of the gripes that the major members have posted on these pages haven't been with me, but rather with eachother.  There are tens, if not hundreds of others of members that could be here posting good things as well.

Admittedly, I did the exact same thing as mar77a. I abused a flaw in Apache/PHP on Windows to view unencrypted passwords in the database. That was two years ago, when I was a senior in High school. I am not saying that I am shameless. I am saying that mar77a and Enesce are not alone.

Here's a great story. I work with an autistic savant who manages our company's SQL database. Because he is autistic, he does not show up for work on time and does irrational, distracting things. There's always the chance my coworker could leak inside information without so much as batting an eye. My company is willing to ignore those problems because he writes very clean code quickly.

Now, here's a similar story. Enesce is a hacker who writes the Server for our forums. Because Enesce is a hacker, curiosity gets the better of him more often than we'd like. There's always the chance that Enesce will abuse his knowledge of the code. MM is willing to ignore these problems because Enesce fixes the Server security better than any other.

In the community we have made friends that we trust. I am human too. We all have our quirks. But, if you define us by just our problems, then you are misguided. All three of us have gone great lengths to help Soldat and contribute to this community.

Things which have happened can not be undone: Stalky won't come back, and starting to hand bans out now would be, as Geo rightly put, silly. Therefore, that is not a valid solution. Best would be to move on now: but I believe the lot of us can learn from this. Just because us moderators and oldies don't start a whining rampage when we don't like something, doesn't mean we approve of it. We don't need the forum: we'll just fade away like others have before us if we get fed up, plain and simple. Sure, others will replace us, but there won't be another Stalky, there won't be another TFS, Kazuki or Rambo.

I'm sure not all of it is drama. He's taken it pretty seriously, and raised a few valid points in my opinion.

As for the Gram situation: I'm guessing this was an issue concerning the moderators, and something about how they didn't believe he should be a moderator. I for one think there are enough. Not that i dislike Gram, i just think there are enough moderators to keep the forums perfectly clean. Plus, more moderators means less freedom to chat without having threads locked in the lounge.

I'm not trying to keep anything bottled up.
