New Server ?

How do you guys make you're own server ?

Ask a more specific question maybe? Or perhaps look for a soldat manual. Or how about finding a FAQ.

Yeah, but in that folder I can't see the "inteface-gfx" and "weapons-gfx" folders. Do I just need to add them ? It's because I whill need to make a server for my "fantasy warriors" mod, when it's finished, of course.

Mods cant be downloaded from he server. Only maps and weapon settings buddy.

Man, the only thing I wanna to know is if in the "soldatserver" folder I have to add the "interface-gfx", "weapons-gfx" and the "sfx" folders by myself or the server will use the ones that I have in my soldat folder. And what about the name of the server, where do I write it ?

A proper install of the dedicated server should come with all the necessary files and folders. Anything not in the install is not needed, and also not used, by the dedicated server. The dedicated server will never look anywhere for it's files but it's own directory.

From what I understand you wanna host a server that uses your (graphics)mod, But the soldat server can't do this.

To change the server name go edit soldat.ini and change Server_name= (or named somewhat similar)

Open your weapons.ini. Its all explained in that file. Any more Frequently Asked Questions that I can smite you for?

The only thing edited are the weapon stats; you can't change how weapons look for all clients.

So, what can I do for people download my weapon settings. And I'm not thinking on publishing the mod in a server, that I'm going to do here in the forums, all I whant to know is how to make a server based in the mod ?
