That pretty much sums it up for me. Basically accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, recognising the sacrifice he made for us all, and offering my sins up to him and asking for forgiveness, is the foundation of my beliefs.

I'm christian, but not really following the religion. "Casual christian" would maybe be an appropriate word for it.

I know someone who's Christian, but he says he wants to believein God, but he doesn't want to go to Heavan; he want to be reborn.
I think being reborn would be better than going to Heavan, because Heaven is free of challenge and hindrance. Everything is just....
Imperfect because it is perfect.
Plus, he says the idea of no longer existing really creeps him out.

I saw this thread and decided to post my aspirations in life to help Christianity. Guess if anybody decides to quote this when I'm finished in college, I could simply delete the post and say it was a creatively fabricated lie.

My goal is to one day become a great politician and to become a catalyst of god. I will help fulfill the prophecy in revelations so that all people can see that the good book is true. Plus, people who aren't Christan are annoying. I guess I would be slightly satisfied to see a tree-hugging "agnostic" crying at the end of times because he understands how useless his life has been.  ;D

Everything you have done in life is measured by the DASH on your gravestone.
Stop wasting time.
Make your dash count.

Wow.  I have to say I think a little less of you now EH, if you really think someone who isn't Christian is annoying for what sounds like no good reason whatsoever.

You've got one "tree-hugging" agnostic right here.  But I think my life is far from useless.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

Well...I am Christian, but don't really follow any of it,just the fact that God exists basically.I'm going to like it when my time finally comes, but I don't know where I'll end up when I die,or even if I'll end up somewhere.

I'm Satanic.
And SATANISM IS MISUNDERSTOOD.
In Satanism, we don't worship Satan. It's an athiestic religion: There's no God, no Satan, no Heaven, no Hell. Satan is just a symbol.

Argh, when people find out, the first thing they ask is, "Then what do you think happens when you die?" (And it's usually that exact sentence) So morbid!

HAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

I will talk to you later ; )))))))))))))))))))))))

I could be classified as an agnostic, but I lean a little towards the "atheism" side of the fence, rather than anything else.
Although, I do create my own deities in stories. Does that count?

Atheist. An Elephant, may I ask why you find non-believers annoying? Its not as if they go out protesting and harrassing you on the streets, or even make a statement about it for that matter.

thats the biggest load of bull iv ever heard, seriously stuff like that is so egotistical and ignorant, so anyone that doesnt believe what you believe ( out of the thousands of religions ) is leading a useless life?
and really, say if a guy leads a perfectly good life, but becuase of his upbringing was say a muslim, now say at the end of time your going to be laughing at him for leading a "useless" life simply becuase he did not believe the religion you did, im sure "god" would hold the exact same belief as you do and smite him to hell......

My beliefs do not go into any category, therefore I'm my own religion.

I'm not agnostic, but I do not believe in a god the same way you do.

I think it would  be, if I believed something like this. In a way I do.

I mean, eventually no matter what we do, our civilization will die. Assuming that tree-hugging means you are a conservationist and environmentalist, I think that logic is just flawed. There is no justice in trying to prolong the suffering of someone you will never know. Destroying our foundations is much more helpful.

@Satanism: Pfft, then don't call it that. There are different sects like every religion, learn about your own you ****ing ****.

In a way then, I am a satanist, but I don't want to be associated with stupid ****ers like you. So, go ahead and keep your title.

I believe in God, in the christian God, but I'm a pretty bad christian. Both in my views and my philosophy I suppose, and in my apathy.
