Do you think people should take the Bible as it is and trust every word of it or should they realise that most of its ideas are fairly outdated and can be modified to work better for the world we currently live in? Or something else entirely?
Geo I live by the rule, hate the sin not the sinner. I hold nothing against gay people, I tell them my views on homosexuality and everything else if they ask. I'm not going to try and preach hellfire on them, since the general message of Christianity is peace and love anyway.

Questioning and looking into what you read is something everyone should do, I questioned my faith earlier in my life and decided I wanted to be a christian still.

So what, exactly, are your personal beliefs about homosexuality and how did you come to those beliefs, if you don't mind me asking?

Some Satanists use the tag to show their self-glorification and don't even believe in Satan whatsoever. That IS what about 98% of Satanists are. The only people that believe in 'satan' and consider themselves 'satanists' are devil worshippers and don't exactly adhere to the basic ideas of satanism. That being surrounding the left hand path which is the opposite of deity worship.There. See, PopeJohnPaul_II? Talk to 'Dan, then; I'm sure he knows his stuff much more than I do about Satanism, anyways.MilkmanDan was agreeing with me. Keron, I don't see how you can argue against what I say of Satanism when you still have yet two overcome two obstacles. Firstly, you know very little of the Satanic religion. Secondly, Christianity is by far the most chaotic, disjointed religion of them all. Until you can prove otherwise, there's no point to these strange antics of yours.

Homosexuality is just another sin; as long as someone is saved, their sins are forgiven.Exactly what I was thinking. The bible says two men should not lay together, which is speaking of homosexuals. According to the bible, gay is gay, there's no way around it.Oh the hypocricy. You're honestly saying that if you had two people: 1), a gay man who lived a perfectly normal and fulfilling life, never stole, swore, or hurt anyone and 2) a gay man who lived the same life but was "saved" by being Christian, that the other would go to hell? Smells a bit fishy to me. Sounds like if you walk with Jesus you can be as gay as you like when you put it that way. Or were you implying that God picks and chooses which gays to keep from hell and which to save?So what about a murderer? If he's a Christian murderer, does he get his sleight wiped clean and get a ticked out of hell? Or are there a few Christian murderers that go to hell, and a few non-Christian murderers that don't? I'm not trying to pick on you here or anything, but this kind of logic just makes the religion seem like a convenient out for what people deem wrong. If you do wrong, just praise the lord and it's all good again. Doesn't matter whether or not you should have done it in the first place.
