Here's a map layout I'm going to make soon. It's going to desert-y with an oasis...
There'll be lots of scenery (trees, grass, etc) near the water, and yeah.
Since my first two maps have had somewhat weak layouts, I wanted to check with you guys at Soldat Forums to see what I can improve on this, my third.

I know it's crappy, but it was made in paint and it's only a layout idea, so it doesn't matter much...

(The map will actually be much bigger, of course, probably a bit bigger than CTF_Due)

I'd suggest an alternative route or two...having one route blocked by a stat gun could make things very unbalanced.  If you're trying for the "stacked" type of inf with the objective higher or lower than the white flag, I'd look to a more symmetrical layout as well.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

I think that layout is pretty innovative, actually. Get a tunnel going, from the bottom-left that leads to the right side of the Bravo flag with maybe a bridge on the way, and it could turn out pretty well. :) The lumps in the cave are weird, tho'.

Spray from top left to bottom right,  spray on top, m79 lobbing everywhere, all of left side will be only used to spawn and then get out of, causing a lot of people to be not playing at one time. It has basically one route which from almost all previous maps I have seen fail. If its a desert why would there be large bumps?

Because they provide cover.

Weird sand dunes? 0_o  Anyway, this looks like it could work.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

Where's RH, this map layout is a bit like Zombified. That means more reason to finish it. :D
