yes, this is really kool, but wouldnt you need to change the basic machanics of the game to implement these changes??? it would take a lot of repetative stuff, if you were to add in all the values to the scripting for each weapon. other than that, yes, ful support, and they'r thinkin bout servers too i think, so it wouldnt only apply to ur weapon.

I suggested this long before , all that gravity and increasing bullet speed thingys but I got little replies. I think ppl missunderstoodme.

Full support here , but I hardly believe that MM will code these , cause I think he already got these ideas but just didn't want to be bothered  with that. Spamm him guys , make him do it!!!

Scoperun....who belives this is a good Idea? I don't think it would work well, but if people support it, I'll chuck it on the list.
Um, a suggestion to counter the fact of MM not looking is for someone like Chackra or FLAB (or anotother equally known mod/Admin) make a sticky of with a list all the really good suggestions and links to those topics. Then, when it is announced that 1.4 is under way, send them to MM.

ya, i support this.
although for the fire type option, i think it would be better if it was....
0 = full auto. 1 = single shot. 2 = two round burst. 3 = three round burst....and so on and so on.
i dont know if that would be hard to code it, but i think it would help alot for some mods (halo mod for example)

ha, actual weapon mechanics from halo2! it would be more user freindly, an its a good idea, but it would stick out from all the random-like kode that MM origonally put in teh variables, so something actually making sence seems weird right now.

hmmm, i have an addition. id like the ability to modify the actual # of weapons you have in each weapon slot. iv wanted to mod the knive so that it truly is a throwing knife, rather than stabbing also, but with the current arc(doesnt fly straight) and only 1 possible to carry, it really doesnt work(i want to make perhaps 4-6 ammo, only partial damage from stabbing or no stabbing at all{thus there would be a distinction between chainsaw and knive to nuubs, and it would be more of an r/s weapon an everything. ive got a whole balance workin in meh head, but anywho). add in somin that would modify teh amount of the same type of weapons you can carry, the # with which you start, and, did youi mention this? the trajectory angle, like: trajectory % :, and this would be how high from the point your aming at the (lack of the better word)top of the arc would reach, 0 being could only drop, 30 being like what the knive really is like at the moment. speed would factor into this, so it might be dificult to add.

yeah, 0 beh default, but what about how the nade ammo mechanics are? couldnt we set it up like a nade?(ps, this is actually possible, just copy all teh nife data into the nade data in weap config...i think)

Bump with full support.

Perhaps add a "push/shove" parameter to determine how far the player is pushed when they are hit by a bullet? (from this topic). Imagine: Invisible bullet + Large Shove = Gravity Gun.

Position (0=use in any position, 1=need to be crouching or laying down 2= need to be laying down)

Add grounding settings too for this:

3=needs to be crouching on the groudn
4=needs to be crouching or laying down on the ground
5=needs to be laying down on the ground

It's be nice if there was a way to rearrange the existing weapons so that I could make the flamethrower a primary, the M79 a secondary, etc. I think a setting for number assignment for the weapon's menu could do that.

How about an instagib option? I want to be able to through my knife at people and have them unrealisticly explode al over the place.
I think you can allready do that by setting the knife damage ultra-mega high, I might be wrong though
Anyway great ideas, let's hope MM notices this one!

I like these ideas. I feel modders on Soldat have been given the short end of the stick on many things, although there are some great mods out there (ERA and WH40K are good examples), we could do so much more with some extra weapon options.
