Weapons of the World
« on: September 22, 2006, 08:49:54 pm »
This is similar to Papasurfs Releasing of guns periodically.
The first in the gun is the Bullpup from Austria.
As of right now, Interface is the only thing i'll be doing.
ENJOY
Edit: Mac 10 DONE!

The Bullpup is ok, but that handgun doesn't look very good at all.

I like that one, but I'm not really sure if I like the whole flag behind the gun thing.

That smg looks like a M4A1 that got squished.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

That's because it is. Go check out Colt's page on their 9mm submachine gun, and you'll see it's basicly a shortened M16 chambered in 9mm.

*about the mg41*

looks nice, some suggestions though.

add a darker color to the part below the barrel, doesnt have to be a lot darker.
add a something to the area above the trigger, like a safety switch?

That MG41 looks a lot better than some of those other guns that you've made.  Nice work.

Needs more detail and less absolute black. (#000000)
I don't really see much in the way of machinery which operates the gun, such as safeties and the reciever. I see some darker pixels on the lower-right of the part above the handle, but that doesn't really work for me. Also, I don't really like that handle. Too straight.
Absolute black indicates the edge of a weapon, so it looks like a bunch of outlined pieces that formed together to make a gun. Place the absolute black where the gun isn't (i.e., around the gun), and place darker grays in-between parts of the gun (i.e., on that handle)
Still, getting better.

Aug looks decent though I'm not sure about the coloring... No offense but the other guns are rather poorly modeled, the Mac-10 looks like some kind of raygun lol. FYI on the Mac-10 the silencer is very large and is just about flush with the barrel, it is very different from the pistol silencer type thing you got going there.
