respawning in center of map on join

i think that repsawning in middle of map happens when someone had to download map which he didn't have

it can be quite annoying at climb servers where such respawn position can give  advantage

could it be investigated?

All the time I join servers which have custom maps that I don't already have, the map downloads and spawns me in the right spot.

I think you only spawn in the center of the map if you or the server have severe lag, the map is a wrong map version or if the map isn't compiled.

I ain't so annoyed about that but i hate wen people change team in mid game cuz then they just stand by the flag and *poof* they change team and they cap.. but respawning in middle of maps can be annoying too. I got (somehow) trapped in a poly i shouldn't die either. Some weird bug.
