Soldat grenades are very strange. They should go through players not explode when hit. Grenades should be Grenades(not heatseekers or lifeseekers)

All im saying is that the grenades should either go through players or only bounce off players themselfs.

While I agree that grenades shouldn't explode on contact with players, realism isn't Soldat's strong suit. This would make the grenades weak or unused.

yes, it would be illogical with all of the physics, pretty much all that makes up the game.....(i.e. if nades had the same collisions as they would in real life, then in real life people would have to be able to jump 20ft in the air and use jetpacks for the usefullnes of the nade to be compared....)so ya, just wait, unless by some freak way noone that loves nades reads this, or rethinks their thoughts cuz of my pointing it out, we will get angry posts.

I think he means, that it should stop exploding when it comes in contact with a soldier....realistically, it wouldn't explode until the fuse runs out, BUT THIS IS SOLDAT, THIS IS SOLDAT@@!!!@!@ This is one of the things that make soldat unique duh....

Actually, while grenades are a major part of the game, I always thought exploding upon impact was weird. If the explosion radius was greatly increased, and/or if random shrapnel could be implemented, I would be in favor of this.

timed grenades would make soldat more complex and eliminate a prominant strategy. Not needed.

no. nades would become useless fast, becuase the fact that they are easy to avoid already.

yeah, i already pointed this out. with the whole platforming design, you need to be able to jump as high as you do and have jet, and if you are that mobile, nades have to be able to detonate on demand if they want any use other than uneffective spamming.

Also, the nades on contact explosion thing is in most(note most)online shooters, and if they dont, the fuse is really small like in Halo 2.

i think it would be good if we had the shrapnel thing (mentioned a little while ago) and the doesn't explode on contact in realistic mode.
this way we make real' more realistic and can keep 'nades normal in standerd play.

also, if hit with grenade in real, so dosn't explode, it should hurt the player it hits, before exploding, adding insult to injury

if you get with a grenade and it doesnt explode, it will eventually. and youll just be standing there, dumbfounded thinking "oh, shiznizzle, im gonna die." then you do.

yeah, that would be hilarius. do it please i want to see people k.o'ed by a grenade before exploding

also. what do you mean add kick back?!?!? you don't get thrown half a mile for throwing a grenade at people (unless in 0G)
