The HK has been nerfed, badly.
The HK is definitely not nerfed.

Yep, no nerfage there.  Ajnin, you are obviously trying to use the MP-5 from a distance.  Next time, get up nice and close and see how very much superior it is to the Steyr at short range.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

Or if that doesn't prove to you, i will show you some demos of my playing XD
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

lol, anywho, i think it should be more like the spas. people use it to spray, i dont think thats very good. i think that if you use the stats discribed, it would be impossible to spray, and it would still be right on par with spas. make the reload uber fast since sprayin would be impossible with the speed. poof, neer unrelenting fire that only goes about 5 gosteks away if fired just above level that rips you to shreds! i luv it

The MP5 is almost as balanced as the Spas. In small maps like Arena 2 and 3, Tropiccave, certain places in HH, and Ratcave, the MP5 is great because it fires quickly and deals a decent amount of damage. In larger or more open maps like Shau, Cambodia, or Krab, the MP5 won't fare as well because it has the shortest range out of all the autos. And, you can't cheat the self-bink system like the AK; It has such a high fire rate that you can't click as fast as it fires and you will need to fire in bursts. :)

It's very easy to kill with mp5. my friend deleted his cursor and used the mp5 and still owned without a cursor or sniper line.

Too much bink? Tap that mouse! Not as strong but more accurate

tapping the mouse is a little extreme, i find that short spurts are accurate enough

well on realistic servers it's usually a life saver as binking with the hk mp5 is quite large and fast

oh, ok.

I very greatly enjoy going prone with the mp5, because there is zero self-bink, and you can kill distracted ppl easily

It's perfect the way it is. Any less powered and it would be underpowered, any more powered and it will be overpowered. Same with speed. I say leave it as it is. It's good for short range but long range its not very good.

I started using mp5 a bunch the other day, i usually only use it on occasion.  I got a whole bunch of 3:1 ratios, i usually get 2:1 on good days.

Is it just me or at a distance, with tapping, does the mp5 seem almost exactly as useful as the socom?

It's actually quite awesome. Not nerfed in the slightest; it's the only weapon I'm really good with

the HK is probably the best weapon in close and med range fights.  the steyr has nothing on the HK.

For close range, the Mp5 is supreme.

At longer ranges however, A Steyr will ruin and Mp5-ers day.  I know, because I use them both.  A Steyr shoots its bullets with about 74 dmg/shot.  They maintain momentum A LOT longer than the Mp5's shots, which are about 104dmg/shot.

...  If you want nerfed, look at the Deagles or Ruger.
