Version 2.5.0 - 2.5.1 (Bugfix version)

{fixed junk}
- Fixed server not restarting when using /gamemode or /survival or /realistic.
- Fixed a couple of issues regarding log files and players with * in their name.
- Fixed multiple issues with EchoKills regarding Deathmatch and Survival mode.

{added junk}
- Added Server Version to admin welcome message.
- Improved File Server code.
- Added console message for Global Mute/unmute.
- Modified default map to ctf_Kampf.

At least I can see the pings now. Gj

*Edit: Also, for the first time, I can actually see the real pings. Like 1666, never saw that before.

That problem lied within the /gamemode problem. Which is fixed.

also, can I use this patch to go from the version before 2.5.0 (2.4.9? ) to 2.5.1?

Yep, only new files since 2.4.9 is server.ini and the binary file.

Will this make custom map downloading easier? With 2.5.0, I had my router as open as it would go, with no luck.

a new server version will not help with that, you most likely have configuration issues or a router that hates you

You haveing trouble uploading custom maps or downloading them?

Nah it hasnt changed, theres a second structure in there with more ingame details, but as I said in another topic its not meant to be used just yet...

I thoroughly tested it, it no longer happens.

The server will always restart upon changing game type or realistic, survival, or advance mode, but the bug caused it to crash.

Yes its meant to 'crash', but it comes straight back up... the way its meant to be. I thought you were complaining about the bug where it didnt come back up.
