Bug? Can't kick/ban player(s)

Sometimes when I'm admin in the ETA server I find guys who are more or less to be kicked, or banned.

But hey, sometimes, not too often though, I can't kick or ban them!?
I do the command, no difference if it's made in arsse or soldat, I can see the command but no effect of it. Other commands like kill and maxplayers and so on work but not /kill or /ban.

is this a bug or something, I tried searching the forum but I didn't find anything.

I don't really need help with this problem, I'm more curious to know how it's possible that it exists..

Simple things goes first, are you sure that you provive a correct name/id for the player you want to kick?

well I tried with both name and ID, another thing was that the player left and rejoined a couple of times and some of those times I didn't see him in arsse, nor some of his actions, while I saw it in soldat..

edit: since I've been quite a friend with this guy he told me what he did, turned out he used some hack so I couldn't kick or ban him.

Your "banned.txt" is corrupted. Shutdown the server, clear the "banned.txt" and restart.

okay, this guy is confusing, and I don't know what's the truth as well. First he claimed it was hack, then he said it was because he was admin (he have been an admin(so that's why he still had access) but afaik you can kick admins..)

anyways, I don't know how it really was done, but, I still think there's quite some work left on the soldatserver..

You cant kick admins, its in the 1.3 changelog. Just do /unadm xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (replace xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with is IP address)
