It's a Major(1) pain in the ass.

Today, i saw someone who was named Major(1). This was odd, because there was no other Major on the server. Also, he had changed everything else- shirt, hair, pants and chain- But left his name as Major(1). He didn't say a word, and always used a barret/minigun, and continually screwed up. My conclusion: People leave their name as Major, just to get a rise out of people.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I had a nick Major(666)  just for fun and some people were like WTF and all . Some guy started calling me The Doombringer XD

Correction: they probably know how to move, they just can't coordinate the shooting and moving at the same time since they haven't played for that long.

And I don't think Majors are that annoying. Most of them are just like any other player.

Majors aren't too frustrating.  Think of them as free kills, and players that can learn more.

If theres a Major(1) but no original major, it goes like this:

Soldat Server has 0 people in it (example)
Major has joined the game.
Major has joined the game.
<Two majors are in the game, eldest one is labeled Major(1).>
Major has left the game.
<Major(1) is still in the game, his name is unmodified until he leaves the server>

People aren't doing it to actually piss people off. They just forget to change their name, or just cant come up with a good one. But I have seen various names reflecting Major:

"Major SUCKS!!"
"Major(73258927)"
"The funnily named major"
"Minor"
"Better than Major"
"Ownage of Major"
"major major major major major"

I did that once. Or in other Multiplayer games I act like a n00b and then later act amazing and kill everyone. I've seen majors that pwn.

Yeah, I sometimes go into servers as a Major and just kinda stand around with a minigun.

I was major (1337) and owned these idiots so much, oh the hilarity, they were pissed off so much.

In Catch-22 One of the caracters was Major Major Major.

on a old server with 32 people, i saw 8 consecutive majors. the funny thing was the major (7) actually got 2 lucky barret shots that killed me. i just about died laughing in retrospect (anyone on here who knows that word deserves a cookie.)

I like majors, they are good target practice to me, i usually single them out and kill them as much as possible

But remember, we were all majors at one point and time, even if you changed yoru name before you played.
