Soldat Classic Mode

Relive the early days of Soldat with the original weapon settings, original maps, and no anti-lag. For those of you who started after version 1.2.1, you don't know what you've missed out on.

* Surf with the minigun and M79.
* Quick fire barret.
* No bink autos.
* No weapon drops.

Who knows? Maybe in the future the old releases of Soldat might be released as open source. That would give a lot of people tons of fun. And you could just download Soldat 1.2.1 and it's version of the dedicated server and have fun with it.

That can probably be accomplished with scripting.

Just open every modable graphic in gimp, do Image > Mode > Grayscale and save....insta Soldat Black and White!

edit: nvm. I'm sure there is software that can change how colors are outputted to your monitor which can make everything show up grayscale.

That would be Cool Though.  If u can have it all One Sort of Colour and stuff.

The first thing I said would only make certain things like flags, crates, weapons, weather, etc black and white. Polygons with colored shading and colored scenery would still be in color.

It'll be simple enought to make it have no colour.

If you go into your monitor setting (by pressing the button on the actual monitor). See if you can find something like saturation, if there is. turn it all the way down.

well some classic things i miss: instant knife throw, shooting the law in the air, map bugs x), super chainsaw... but recently i downloaded v1.1.4 to refresh my memories and well i have to say Soldat has gotten immensely better x)
