OK, so I finally figured out how to do it right. I even did some sound effects. OK, so I stole them from Counter-Strike, but I did some sound effects, right? I made a P90 to replace the MP5 and an AKS-74U in place of the standard AK. Here they are -

#3 feels like Dairy's. Normally that would be a huge compliment, but the other weapons present here aren't near the aksu quality. I'm curious if any theft took place here.

I only modified the MP5 and the AK. The rest are standard soldat guns, except the magnums, which I downloaded a while ago, and I am NOT claiming are mine. I just thought I'd post some pics to show you guys my first attempts at modding. I haven't got the courage or skill to try and create a whole weapon set mod. Also bear in mind I didn't draw the guns myself, I resized and recoloured pictures from the internet, because I don't think I would have the slightest clue where to start with drawing them myself right now.

Try looking reeeaaaly closely at other weapon sprites and you'll get an idea.
IMHO, I like my P90 (attached) better, even though I wussed out on shading and used
this technique
. Just fill in that gap at the bottom of the P90, darken it a little, and it's sexy.

I can't really get that technique to work so well. I guess I'll just have to keep practising until I've really got a handle on this whole thing.

It looks okay you should make a full mod, I like it.
