Uploading Mods
« on: October 28, 2006, 07:42:55 pm »
Hey guys, this is my first post, idk why, since ive been a die hard soldat player for a while.

Recently, i started to make a mod.

I have some of it finished, and i would like to see what you guys think, but:::

I dont know how to upload a mod, either to a different website, or anywhere.
I understand that there are alot of websites, but thats only for sharing one small item, i want to share
an entire file, which does not work (or i cant figure it out).  If anyone can give me a run through, it'd be great.

Thanks alot,

Ghargatula :D

When you're replying, or making a new topic, hit "Additional Options..." below the Message box. This will give you access to the forum's uploading system. Hit "Browse..." (either one) and navigate to your file. When you post, the file will be attached.

Thanks alot man, a fast reply, right after i went to the store.  Thanks a ton, and there needs to be more good people like you :)

Sorry another question::

i can get to that part, but it wont allow me to select an entire folder, just a file at a time, which would be alot for a mod.  Now what can i do?

Stick it into a .ZIP: right-click on any blank space on your desktop, hover the cursor over New, and create a New Compressed Folder.
Drag all the necessary contents for your mod to function into the .ZIP, and upload that. Happy modding :)

www.winzip.com or www.rarlab.com < get the compression programs there :)
