CTF; my first moment.
« on: October 29, 2006, 07:52:57 pm »
Alright, picture this: CTF, next flag wins. On Map Ash(?). 3 are back at base, three are moving ahead. I'm one moving ahead. With the FN Minimi, I'm on the lower level, while the ohers cover the top.

Now onto the good stuff.

I look ahead for any enemies and spot one, crouched. I tell my team-mates and we move ahead slowly. I prone down, and move ahead. I throw a knife at the guy, hitting his leg. Instantly, he stands up and loads his barret. I'm still down prone while he's firing into the tunnel.

Suddenly, I have 'nades coming down by me, and M79s shooting everywhere. This is all from half-way down the tunnel.

So, I stand up, and open fire, running ahead. I'm getting nailed. Hard. Bullets are flying everywhere, most not hitting. I can look ahead and see people advancing. I whip out the Law and crouch.

BLAM!

Blood and bodies are scattered EVERYWHERE. I grab a med-pack, and start climbing upwards and snatch the flag.

And the bullets opened.

I'm throwing everything I have at them, running backwards. They're following me as I'm getting into the tunnel and jetting. The WHOLE Alpha team is after me. Seriously.

I turn around and start firing. I'm ducking and rolling avoiding almost all bullets, health on low. The whole time though, I'm killing them off. Heads a rolling and bodies are dropping.

Y'know the songs you can play if you hit F4? And that one song, "Gore"? It would've been the perfect time to start blasting that into my house.

I jump up the final bit, drop a grenade, roll back and...

Die.

An Alpha that I killed was above me with a M79. The flag flew up, one of my guys flies up to grab the flag, our flag is taken, the red flag is in the air, I respawn, I jump up, Alpha is closing in. I fire one bullet. BOOM! HEAD SHOT!

I grab the flag, and hide back in base. And the words of the System was the only thing I could see on screen.

"Blue Flag Returned!"

I jump, and run in our last point. And won the game!

It was sweet, I gotta say. It IS kinda long, but you had to have the details and my weird storytelling.

Thanks for listening.  :P

Ive seen it before =P

Its cool though. I have had tons of moments that are good enough to be in movies. I wish i could remember them all, and I sure as hell wish I recorded them.

Sometimes I use my accurate grenade throwing aim on people that are directly below me, and nade jump myself off their heads to reach the flag =)

I've mowed down entire platoons with an MP5, but obviously thats been done before. However readin Multi Kill X2! on CTF severs is always a great feeling.

Long range deagles, and Ak74 kills

One time i pummeled the EFC with the spas-12 as he was running away with our flag, and as his dead body was still lifless in the air, I went below it and held up my chainsaw, and his body fell right into it, completely demolishing his entire body.

Great moments happen all the time for me in soldat. I love em all. I'm glad you can say the same.

Your story is fishy. You throw a knife, then you stay proned while someone shoots you. Suddenly nades come flying at you, and you start firing at your enemies. Then you whip out your law and kill someone with it. Where's the 9 seconds of reload time? You can't have a primary, knife, AND a law, so you must have picked up the law and reloaded it with nades flying, m79 shells exploding, and you returning fire.???

If you managed that, alpha must have really sucked, which leads me to wonder how you managed to get to a 'next cap wins' situation.

Agreed, someone who says something without thinking what it *could* mean!
Kinda reminds me about the "I like four year olds" post in the "Who Has The Best Avatar" thread....

The story does not make sense. You had a knife as primary, and you threw it. Then you fired at people with your primary, then you crouched and fired your law. If you fired a law, you must've picked it up AND loaded it... which you couldn't have because you were in an enemy base, firing at people.

Busted.

Kinda pointless if people start making up stories, even if only parts of it...maybe I should make one up and see how many people will believe it, hmmm...
