Thanks. All I could find on Google was the pics from the movies, the ones with Lecter in his asylum restraint mask...those weren't cool...they made him seem like an evil being...

Not in this thread, but in others.  Even by moderators.

But anyways, on topic:  Lecter is indeed sweet.  Wearing somebodys face and getting away in an ambulance is just too awesome.

Obviously you've only just seen the movies. But, I only just watched them 3 months ago....so yea. Have you read the WIKI on him? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannibal_Lecter < Thats a bloody lot of info!
He is pretty cool actaully, but the movies are gruesome  :-X
Anthony Hopkins, imo, is one of the better actors I've seen, and now that I've seen the hannibal moves, every time I see him in another film, all I can think is "brain eating freak"...lol.

Um...no.I just finished reading Hannibal, and I read The Silence of The Lambs about 3 months ago...I haven't had a chance to go toa localstore and buy Red Dragon yet.

The books are much more enjoyable in my opinion. Even though I like being able to see the actions of Lecter, they miss out a bit of important stuff through the films and also I think how people visualise him in their own mind is what makes his devilish and understood nature so great.

I don't think the films were turdish either, infact they were brilliant. I love the near final scene when Starling and Lecter fight in the kitchen, the tension is so high and the love/hate you can see between the two's eyes is nothing short of excellent.
