Some Trivia.
« on: October 31, 2006, 07:12:21 pm »
Hello, I was hoping we can do some trivia. I hope it doesn't bore you. Lets see if some of you can answer them.

1.What is the largest sea in the world?

2.What present day capital was the ancient city of Carthage located near?

3.What mountain system extends from France to Yugoslavia?

4.What is the elevation of Mont Blanc?

5.How many Greek islands are inhabited?

6.Who was the author of the lliad and the odyssey?

7.Which Greek deity did the Parthenon honor?

If you don't know them by mind then use Google or some kinda of search engine. I will see who answers the most, When you answer put the number thats next to the question and then put the answer. Don't put the question again, Enjoy!

trivia should be easy enough to not bother going on google, but hard enough for some thought, like snapple bottlecaps.

Hello, I was hoping we can do some trivia. I hope it doesn't bore you. Lets see if some of you can answer them.

These are off the top of my head.  I'm not sure that they are correct.

1.  The Caspian Sea is the largest body of fresh water.  I don't know what's the largest sea.  I'll say the Mediterranean. (sp?)  Also, this is assuming seas are not oceans.
2.  don't know
3.  the Andes?
4.  don't know
5.  don't know
6.  Homer
7.  Zeus sounds logicial, but that's probably incorrect.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

Caspian sea is not fresh water. Lake superior is the largest body of freshwater.

5) All of them?
6) Homer
7) Athena (gotta love freshman level art history class)

Edit: Whoa, didn't know how many Greek islands there were...

Not really, I just thought I would make my first topic. I thought it would be fun though.

Point One: This isn't your first topic.

Point Two: Homework is not fun, I come on Soldat Forums to get away from that man.
