Waypointing Maps for Dummies

... i tryed that and i mad the poley they started on ice so all they do is crouch down and let themselves slide until they come to the edge then the just run back ageist the wall and repeat this pattern

They will only obey the same action for so long (a few seconds) before they begin to imagine that something is wrong since they're not touching any other waypoints. You should put a continuous string of waypoints (spaced out about every fifth or sixth of a map screen) to keep them obeying, even if the waypoints must be given the same action. Keep 'em crouching!

for ages ive been trying to way point a map ... AND I STILL CANT!!  Someone help!  My map is a INF map.  The Alpha's team's objective is to parachute into a volcano shooting enemys on floating platforms as Alpha go down.  Sounds exciting i know :) but :( I put the waypoints on the spawns (For Alpha team) made sure it was on path 1 ... conected it all up and it still dosent work.  I have looked at all the other INF maps but they dont help me whatsoever.  SOMEONE PLZ HELP!!!!  :'( :'( :'(
