China i dont know what way i have not quite figured it out yet but i have been planning this for along time now

What you need to tell me is your special abilitys.. can you cook dead animals skin them can you make your own fires do you have out door skills? are you strong weak medium. what ever

Are you good at land navigation.. do you know how to use a compass and orange it so you know how the step counter goes to find the exact location on the map we are.>?

if you are a computer hacker good for you but that wont really help unless you have a solar powered laptop or something of the sort..

It sounds like you're trying to reinact an entire storyline of an anime or something.  No offence, but I in no way take this seriously and I won't be supprised if most others think the same thing.  To actually do something like this would take a lot of money for transportation there and for initial supplies, let alone trying to survive off of a blade.  This whole ordeal is quite possible, but it would take a lot to pull it off.  Even if you are serious about this whole thing, it wouldn't supprise me if you changed your mind and called it off before you're out of the military.

I went threw survival classes and had to experince it my self... i can help the ones that go with me

I was wanting to do this since i was 7... im bringing my camera to of course take pictures of everything i see and yes i need 2 people to go with me... its not going to be has hard as you think and we of course will meet intresting people that will most likely help us on our adventure im willing to put up 15 thousand dollars on going and if something bad happens like emergecy something of some sort i will of course have my satlight phone just for emergencys but other wise im goign to rough it hard

i know it sounds weird but guess what im a WEIRD person and pretty fked up.

i do what i think sounds pleasing and this is what i have wanted to do..
i just need some intresting people to hang out with and go on an adventure with.. if you possibly want to go tell me why...

P.S. I wouldn't mind going on a real life RPG quest (I would even dress accordingly, like LARPers), but I'm not a big fan of China.  If you changed China to Iceland, or Russia, or Sweden, etc., then I'd totally be in for it.

Bah..I really want to go, but since I'm in graduate school I have no time with all this research, and in the summer I head out to do my field work.  But...

I'm backpacking ready, good with navigation (compass and GPS), some cooking skills, no expert in survival but more than a novice, and I'm fine the spoils of hunting.

Maybe I'll get the chance someday

Like Geo, I have a bit of experience with backpacking, but I don't currently have any time.  If it was over the summer I'd consider it, but then I'd be worried about being more of a burden than a companion since I haven't hiked long-distance in a while.
