Umm, after much deliberation and considering both sides, I disagree for a simple reason. The dark side of random mods. People would probably abuse this and you couldn't find a normal server even less than now. Besides of this simple fact, i would agree.

He never checks this section of the forum.

This is an awesome suggestion.  Would really be neat to see teams with different weapons using mods that has modded weapons for each teams.  Complete support.

No, mods are client side.

This isn't yet unconfirmed, but I think this option is implemented in 1.5

I kind of doubt that; it would require some serious twinks to the program. And it'd make modding a bit more annoying for people who don't want to implement it.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

Not if you just copy and paste your weapons folder =p

...meh. Still, it's not that I don't like the idea; I'm just sceptical about it being implemented so soon.

I don't think this suggestion wants seperate weapons.ini  files too... Just Weapon-gfx, Gun Interface, and Weaponnames.txt. Once again i support this.

Weapons.ini is, in my opinion, the most important one by far.

This might've been asked allready, but I couldn't really see it anywhere. How would the weapons GHX react when you picked up a weapon from another team? Would it switch to the 'friendly' interface, or would it remain the same?

I reckon it should remain the same. It'd be interesting to know how many people grab and use other peoples' weapons. :D

Or you could simply leave it how it is now. If you only have one set of weapons, it automatically uses them for both teams.
