gasoline in a fog machine
« on: November 13, 2006, 03:20:01 am »
I have a fog machine and I'm thinking of "for the sake of safety" pouring gas or maybe an fog juice + gas mixture ..... I really hope it would work but I don't think it will so I'm going to wait till I get bored of the machine and wont miss it

ill make a video and up load it    but if some knows of some one doing this before and the results it would help

give any suggestions

plus before i blow it up I'm going to put bleach + ammonia{sp?} in it and test how that works

Stupid, stupid, stupid.  Even worse than gasoline.  You have two possible outcomes: one, you create chlorine gas that eats into your lungs, throat, and eyes causing either blindness and scarring or a very painful death; or two, you mix too much of one chemical in the machine and either get an explosion or so much heat that the thing bursts into flames.

My suggestion; if you value life and want to live to see another day, don't even try it.  However if you do try it be sure to send us a video of it so we can see the results.

If you are in the state of mind to where you would actually go through with trying it, more power to you. You deserve anything that comes your way from it!

bleach+ammonia do not give mustard gas...  I don't know where you got this idea from but it is 100% wrong
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustard_gas

Furthermore, just about everything you said is a bad idea.  If you put anything into a fog machine and it makes a cloud of it and you breathe it... that is bad.  You do not want to breathe bleach/ammonia any more than you would want to drink them.

Lastly, I'm not sure what you're expecting gas to do in it, but depending on the type of fog machine you have, this could turn out very, very poorly.

Get a safe distance away, use a remote to turn it on.  [retard]
Don't do the bleach one, it sounds like you'll pretty much die no matter what you do with that combo.
Try something safer, normal fog, perhaps?

OK first flies like a brick http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/A795611

second I AM NOT GOING NEAR IT AT ALL   I mean really how stupid do you think I am

third the machine only costed 10$ "after Halloween sale"

Fourth  I wont add gasoline and the bleach/ammonia     I was thinking a 1/10 bleach/ammonia combo with 9/10 fog juice to kill some raccoons

Yes zexus, where on that page does it say that combining the two gives you mustard gas?  Chrorine gas is not the same thing as mustard gas
