THE OFFICIAL CONSOLE WAR THREAD

The console war is almost upon us, its time to deciede.


The Wii

While not as Graphically powerful as the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3, It is having an impressive line-up of games like Twight Light princess and Metroid,plus its unique gameplay, Its no wonder it's going to be a tough contender in the console war.

Xbox 360

Even though it's already been launched, The Xbox 360 is still awsome. Xbox Live, Downloads, It has it all. Gears of War just lauched, making the Xbox 360 a must-have. Believe the HYPE!


PlayStation 3


Releasing  before the Wii, you might want to pick this Sweet machine up. With a Cell Processor, It can create beautiful graphics that will blow your mind. It also includes Bluetooth technolgy. It's lineup of games are all looking excellent.

None! I've got 2 computers!

If I had to choose, I'll get the Wii as I'm still a Nintendo virgin (not including my old Gameboy Colour). I've played the XBox version of RS: Raven Shield (can't remember the XBox name for it) and the extent of its change from the PC version was disturbing; The XBox version was much more arcadey. My PS2 broke after a year (same happend with a friend's one too), so I'll rest my hopes on Nintendo.

Well I'm not going to cross-out the Xbox 360 just because I didn't like one of the Xbox games, but that was still pretty awful what happend to Raven Shield XD

As long has it has good specs, I'll choose a PC over a console anyday. Anyone want to say why I should fork out the money for a console when I've already got a good computer?

what makes this thread official?
anywayss I'm getting a wii because imo it's the only next-gen console, except for maybe the ps3 controller because of the tilt sensor, but it's still a big difference from the wii's controller
the xbox 360 just sucks

and pc doesn't own wii

Xbox 360 for 5 reasons

1. I am not going to shell out $500+ for a game system "PS3"
2. Xbox has some of my favorite franchises "halo"
3. Xbox is the only non-japanese console "Go America"
4. Nintendo sucks as do its games
5. Xbox is extremley versatile, moreso than the others.

also PC is better than wii Pc is almost the best.

Wii is good, it isn't a shitty PC it is a console, the others are just phony/crappy/bad PCs not consoles

Don't say bad things about Nintendo, what has the Italian Fat Plumber ever done to you?

Wii, not only is it the cheapest, but, seriously, those games are cool.  Besides, Nintendo has Mario, LoZ, ssb:b, red steel, elebits, a few others I'm too lazy to remember like the rumors of a digimon game.

Sure, the ps3 has r&c, Jak, Assassin's Creed, and all those other awesome ones; but the high price point kinda ruins it, or atleast it does for almost everyone I know.

As for the x-box, I can only think of three games that'll turn out awesome, Halo (never played it, only going by friend's opinions), Gears of war, and some other one I can't remember.

I think you might have meant "Blu-ray."


I can't afford any of them, but the Xbox 360 looks promising; the PS3 doesn't have too many exclusive titles and it's price tag is ridiculous. Plus, I don't care about graphics too much

I'm getting the Wii.
I don't really like Xbox too much, just because none of its games really interest me. And the Xbox live community, or at least what I've seen of it, is annoying as all hell. I like Ps3. I just don't have enough money to get it. Plus Playstation is geting a little old to me. It's games just don't have that touch anymore.
I'm getting the Wii because it has all the games I like. I can't wait for the new Smash brothers. I am also a Resident Evil fan and the RE games are always better when Nintendo makes them. And about "PC Exclusive", the PC is great, but it's waaaay to costly for me. And since I can't make my own computer, oh well. And I can't stand the PC communities too well.
