In a recent DM, I was playing close quarters 1on1 with sadist. I got flamer, and chased him around with it, the flame hitting him for about eight seconds of the immortality. Only about half his health got depleted. ?
Only the bots that don't know how to jet are flame victims.

Here's a tip, when the invincibility wears off, press QIt was made sucky because now you keep it for forever.
I just was playing in the soldatforums server and encountered this 3 times. Once I had it, and twice they had it and it barely damaged me. I'm 99% sure it isn't lag.for what its worth, we were in a WM server. Maybe it is a bug with flamers in WM servers? were any of you guys in WM servers?I highly doubt this is just lag

I currently show 33 kills with the flamethrower, and I can usually get at least 2-3 victims per bonus. I use the ten seconds of invincibility to dart straight into enemy camp to make it safely there and attack. The real problem with it as a weapon is the range and how the fire obscures your vision somewhat. I don't believe the fire binks, but ideally it would to make it a better weapon and help counteract the lag that can sometimes cripple it.
