Video problem.

Hey soldatforums. Havent really been active here since the old forum. dont think anyone remembers me tho.

Anyway...
when I go to sites like YouTube I cant see any of the videos there. It says that my flash player is out of date even tho I have the latest and have uninstalled and re installed and updated it a houndred times.

I have this problem only on a few sites that uses flash video but on others it works fine. and this problem is only on IE. I had the problem on IE6 then upgraded to IE7 but still didn't get rid of it.
if I try to watch it in firefox it works just fine. (but I dont like firefox)

and yes I tried to google it. anyone else got this problem or a solution?

Well best bet is to get ogver your firefox fears and to use it. It is overall better browser anyways. Anyways best idea, since ie is built into your computer, is to just reinstall windows after you delete everything off of your hardrive. Or....just use an alternate browser:firefox(recommended), opera, or links haha.

geez I was gonna write that I dont want any tips on how to change my web browsing ways, just get some help with the actual problem

I liked IE6 better than firefox and IE7 ahelluvalot more and I love it <3

Dubuyah Tee Eff...Opera is the fastest browser for Windows....according to a chart I saw some day that looked reliable, and I think I saw the link on this forum, or maybe not. Plus it has tabbed browsing, and sexier skins like mine:

Not with me. Remember, you have to use extensions to make firefox as good as opera. Plus, the skin I'm using isn't clunky.

seriously just use firefox, just try it once, or maybe opera, it will do good for your pc and for your flash movies

Im not saying its better, Im not suggesting other people use it I just wanted some help with an issue. apparently that is impossible.
I have tried Firefox I have it installed, I have tried Opera I have it installed I have tried IE I have it installed and guess what, I like IE

Welcome back Psycho!

The man wants to use IE so let him use it.  You won't get anywhere trying to convert people's browsing preferences by constantly annoying them with it's better features and showing how much of a fanboy you are, this would probably just provoke them to use a different browser.

Anyways, my suggestion is to see if you can install a fresh installation of your flash player.  If you do and it still doesn't work, and you're going to stay with IE, try and look around on the Microsoft site for support. About all I can tell ya'.

By the way I tried the new IE7 and it's horrible, IE6 was way better than IE7 and that's saying something.
