If you want to switch from Opera to Firefox or from Firefox to Opera, this web can be useful to you.

http://files.myopera.com/Rijk/blog/extensions.html

This list only works one way - it doesn't show the unique features in Opera that are not available in Firefox.

Summary:

  • 41 extensions are available Out-of-the-Box.
  • 13 extensions are available by installing a UserScript or a Widget or dragging a button.
  • 17 extensions require advanced customization or are only partially available.

Yes. I for one use mine as a newsreader, email client, game-type thing, music player, IRC client and a dictionary. I browse the web using my Bittorrent client.
