I just did an interview for SoldatNews. If you were ever curious if I use my status to get female Soldat players than be sure to read it here:

Novella: Where do you think you would be now if you never made Soldat, would it be better or worse do you think?

Michal: That's a good question. Maybe I would be a lumberjack. Because lumberjacks are cool.

Some of your answers to those generic real-world questions are funneh. Nice work MM

I found a wrong:

Novella: What's currently your favorite game? We remember an old interview, where you've said that you like playing Doom3, has this changed?

 Michal: I said I like playing Doom 3?     -->nope^^

Top. 5 videogames – what are they and why?

I'll give one from each genre that I like:
Another World
Doom 2[/u]
Fallout 1/2
Operation Flashpoint
Jagged Alliance 2

You look it though. Bet you even play Soldat with the barbie mod.

Nice interview btw. Good to see http://news.soldatcentral.net is getting busy.

Like gore and the Fallout games, eh Michal? ...try a game called Crusader:No Remorse... it's basically an action game with the same diablo-esque perspective as Fallout, and with (if possible) more gore. Needs a dos emulator though, but worth it for the lovely crisp SVGA.

I'm waiting for crimson...  :P

Soldat being 2D is perfect for ads.
I.e.: A single little banner in map.

And I agree. Women like muscles.

Make a lumberjack ax as a weapon, that'd be cool.

Maybe a plaid shirt, too?

Nice interview anyway

Good interview MM, I loved your comment about lumberjacks ;) .  I think if you ever hand over the code, make sure the person re-writes the network code (unless you plan on doing this). BTW how integrated is the network code?  Why is it so difficult to modify?

Why is it so difficult to modify?
Because the code for it is left-right-and-center, its all over the place. Some is in A.pas, some is in B.pas, the rest is in Z.pas... Thats based on what the server network code looks like <_<

P.S Lumberjacks kill trees, I dont mean to be a hippie but thats not cool! The o-zone is fucked enough as it is :(

En, it's a fact that (depending on where you read) we plant thousands more trees every year than we cut down, the rainforests are not disappearing either. BS to that.  Go the lumberjacks!

Hmm, those interviews could need some more creativity, it's the same babbling every time, missed opportunity there. Nevertheless, each sign of life of Poland's finest is welcome anytime.

Of course I played it. It's an awesome game, but I can't run it now cause it uses SVGA and Windows somehow doesn't cooprate with that.

requires a bit of tuning in dosbox to work smoothly apparently. I only ever played the game back in the 90's with good old DOS 6.11. Man, i'm gonna have to try that game again...

Incidently i'm playing Fallout 1/2 for the first time here. Was hoping to screw Bishop's wife 'and' daughter, but I got into a fight and had to kill the little bitch after banging the missus, and the suitcase I got from vault city contained a note saying 'kill me', so I missed out on the Bishop quests either way. They're all dead now. Good times...

I used to play Crusader for the Sega Saturn all the time. It was so fun. I still have it, so maybe I'll try it out again.
