I just did an interview for SoldatNews. If you were ever curious if I use my status to get female Soldat players than be sure to read it here:

Novella: Where do you think you would be now if you never made Soldat, would it be better or worse do you think?

Quote
Michal: That's a good question. Maybe I would be a lumberjack. Because lumberjacks are cool.

Some of your answers to those generic real-world questions are funneh. Nice work MM

I found a wrong:

Novella: What's currently your favorite game? We remember an old interview, where you've said that you like playing Doom3, has this changed?

 Michal: I said I like playing Doom 3?     -->nope^^

Top. 5 videogames – what are they and why?

I'll give one from each genre that I like:
Another World
Doom 2[/u]
Fallout 1/2
Operation Flashpoint
Jagged Alliance 2

You look it though. Bet you even play Soldat with the barbie mod.

Nice interview btw. Good to see http://news.soldatcentral.net is getting busy.

Like gore and the Fallout games, eh Michal? ...try a game called Crusader:No Remorse... it's basically an action game with the same diablo-esque perspective as Fallout, and with (if possible) more gore. Needs a dos emulator though, but worth it for the lovely crisp SVGA.

I'm waiting for crimson...  :P

Soldat being 2D is perfect for ads.
I.e.: A single little banner in map.

And I agree. Women like muscles.

You don't see flying bullets in realtime in FPS games like Counter-Strike.
Yet.

So are you planning on incorporating Lumberjacks in soldat?  That would pretty much make my day.   ;D

Make a lumberjack ax as a weapon, that'd be cool.

Maybe a plaid shirt, too?

Nice interview anyway

Good interview MM, I loved your comment about lumberjacks ;) .  I think if you ever hand over the code, make sure the person re-writes the network code (unless you plan on doing this). BTW how integrated is the network code?  Why is it so difficult to modify?
