I can usually find people in #soldat.forums who are willing to play a couple of games. If you're lonely in the server, try asking there.

Keep in mind that's not the official and working wep balance you're testing. So all gameplay there only counts if you refrain from using deagles, ak, steyr, spas, ruger, m79, barret, minimi, minigun, sock, chainsaw ...and no such are present at the server.

Am I giving the Minimi a bad image by getting lots of kills with it? Maybe I should purposely suck with it so that it looks underpoweredÂ

The LAW reload is lowered to 89% - MP5 damage is 98% of its original value and bink 64%. Though you were most correct on the knife.

Yeah, it's empty a lot, but you can usually arrange a game with a few willing people on IRC in #soldat.forums on QuakeNet. If you're unfamiliar with IRC, check out this tutorial: http://wiki.soldat.nl/IRC_tutorial

I don't think this is very good, it's quite laggy, my best ping is 200 and I can't play adequate with that. No offence though, this is probably just me haha, have fun though guys.

Well... it all depends where in the world you are. Also, I personally have no problem at all playing with a 200-ish ping.

I sure have a problem to shoot you though!

Check the forum server during European evening time, that's like, 1 pm for the US or so. We usually swarm the server after some trash-talk on IRC, and then duke it out.

The server is nice, but settings are a bit noobish (4 nades, lots of bonuses, I'm not against bonuses but not that many) and pings are a bit to high for european players but that's obvious if the server is in USA... And usually the server is empty. So it's not yet like the old DNAGames server, but maybe some day it will be...

If the day comes that I can afford to rent a server or rack space somewhere in the EU, there will be european servers. All of the money from U13 rentals/webhosting/donations goes into paying for the servers I've bought for this stuff as well as paying my monthly fees
