DM_Opaline - Lighttool experimental Map
« on: November 17, 2006, 05:55:27 pm »
well i just tried to mess around with the lighttool of polyworks like anna did. see the result, a middle scale DM map with cell shading edges and some other visual effects like some sort of black hole. (i know that an opaline stone isnt purple, but who cares? i guess The Geologist does ;D)
no waypoints.

Wow, I haven't actually downloaded a forum map in a long time but I'm getting this one.

whoaa, that looks amazing.

I hate purple maps, with the exception of this, which i love.
The layout's awesome too.
There are other worlds than these

The color is fine, but opal is a cryptocrystaline variety of quartz, which means it's so small it doesn't really grow nice crystals like that :p

Otherwise a good DM map.  I wish I had more time to experiment and map these days :(
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.
