You could have just PM'ed Michal and asked him, this didn't deserve a topic.  Anyways, if I'm not mistaken "Marcinkowski" is a somewhat common polish surname, correct me if I'm wrong.

Michal isn't even a 'leet' coder, and he says so himself.  Making a popular freeware game does not make a person god.  I thank him for Soldat, but despite his skills, he has stated on several occasions that things in Soldat cannot be changed because of previous poor coding.

I've never met anyone with that name. Unlike people with Anglo-Saxon names in America, people in Poland with the same last names are usually related.

I didn't expect you to have met somone with the surname Marcinkowski, but you could very well be correct that they are related.  I just thought that I've always heard that Marcinkowski is a fairly common last name among Polish people, the equivalent of something along the lines of "Smith" or something. Oh well I guess I thought wrong.

Unless you get your name changed then you cant really steal somone's name.
