Of course they are alive.  I'm talking about their overall being.  They're basically in a suspended state that is a mix of life and death.  I'm not exactly sure how to word what I'm trying to get across.

Zombies do not exist (the flesh eating kind that is), therefor zombies don't have to follow any sort of guidelines. Directors can make all the zombies flaming homosexuals who were built by the Canadians to take over Alaska if they wanted to.

Creative freedom rules over all.

Ahh ... points I have to make that I can't be bothered to think of. Meh, I'll just wing it.

Kay, so you like what George Romero did for the zombie horror world. I s'pose it's because I like the blood and guts side more than I do 'the undead creatures of the night'.

I really enjoy what Shinji Mikami did with the zombie world, he took a spin from something supernatural to something slightly believable with viruses and mutations. Though I hate the Resident Evil films, they sucked, nothing in them about William Birkin or the G-Virus. Which by the way in my opinion was one of the best idea's for a villian ever. I mean look at the design on this guy:

The Dawn Of The Dead (Remake) Issue - I don't know where to stand with this film. There are points in the film that show hints of greatness, like the chinese dude with no arm that runs at the door of the mall which looked incredibly real (I think he may have actually had no arm, not sure) and the first few minutes of the film where you can see the chaos on the streets.

But other parts where it completely sucked, like really cheesy hard turn of the van near the end of the film that causes the chainsaw to go through that persons shoulder, clearly they were losing idea's of how to make the film a bit gorier, there was no need to turn the van that sharply. Also the ending of the film was enormous turd, I wont spoil it for those that haven't seen it, but I don't get why they didn't just get back on the boat.

Err ... my main point being ... zombies don't have to be genuine zombies to be cool.

Why should a zombie be afraid of fire? They aren't really capable of any logical thought other than "fooood", right?

If they were, they would also be able to stop eating humans and make a nice salad.

If romero set the standards, he set them pretty low. I find a lot of his movies decent, but there are much better zombie movies out there. His gore is alright, but there is much better. His whole political stances are not "subtle" as people say they are. They are blantantly there are very obvious, its like a punch in the face.

Just tried that game and it is extremely boring.

If they made the Resident Evil games into ACTUAL movies (not that crap they have now) it would be amazing. The Resident Evil remake for GC would make an amazing movie if they can find more ways to add the "you're screwed" atmosphere <3.

let zombies be zombies. I saw Dawn of the Dead (not the old old one, but not the new one, the one that is on Sci-Fi) and I liked it. If you really think of it there is no "set zombies". Some run, some walk, some are just plain idiotic. I like almost any zombie related. *heads off to try and buy Resident Evil Outbreak: File #2*

I liked 28 days later, even though it wasn't a zombie movie it was close. It wasn't about gore, it was about surviving.

Guys if you think the remake of Dawn of the Dead is good you fail at zombie fanism. As a movie by itself its ok at best, but as a remake... well it is probably the worst remake to date and in the future.(or at least until the Day of the Dead remake comes out. Serious Nick Cannon in a zombie movie?)

28 days later was shitty. Half the time they fought with soldiers who wanted to rape them.

If you think this...then your not a true zombie fan.

Well, actually I won't say that because its just opinion. But Shawn of the Dead wasn't that good.
