He was asked to leave, so he should have left. I feel no sympathy for the person, or the cops (who in my mind should get charged with felonies).
The CSOs left, returning minutes later, and police officers arrived to escort the student out. By this time the student had begun to walk toward the door with his backpack when an officer approached him and grabbed his arm, at which point the student told the officer to let him go. A second officer then approached the student as well.
I don't agree with the police's action but the student was such a ***** about it too."HERE'S YOUR PATRIOT ACT!!!!!!! POLICE BRUTALITY!!!!!!"
Laila Gordy, a fourth-year economics student who was present in the library during the incident, said police officers threatened to shoot her with a Taser when she asked an officer for his name and his badge number.
As the student and the officers were struggling, bystanders repeatedly asked the police officers to stop, and at one point officers told the gathered crowd to stand back and threatened to use a Taser on anyone who got too close.
And the crowd were ****ing idiots. I'm sure instead of 12 people taping it, someone could have called higher ups and gotten others to see. That or actually stop the cops themselves.

Yeah do that and you'll ruin your life. The guy was stupid not to listen but after he got handcuffs the tazer shouldn't have been needed, two cops could've just dragged him away.
Tasers are non-lethal weapons. You don't need clearance to use them. If somebody isn't obeying you willingly, you force them to obey you. In the video, you can clearly hear the student raising his voice to the officer. How do you know if he didn't strike or threaten to strike the officers off camera? People tend to lie to anybody about something if it's in favor of themselves or somebody they know. Besides, it was campus officers. They're not the smartest people in the world.
