What the police did was wrong, you don't go tazeing somone who isn't a threat. The person getting arrested wasn't much brighter either. He was asked to leave, so he should have left. I feel no sympathy for the person, or the cops (who in my mind should get charged with felonies).

The CSOs left, returning minutes later, and police officers arrived to escort the student out. By this time the student had begun to walk toward the door with his backpack when an officer approached him and grabbed his arm, at which point the student told the officer to let him go. A second officer then approached the student as well.

The officers had no right to taser the guy when he didn't threaten to use force against them or hadn't.
The kid was being rather uncooperative, but they shouldn't have tasered him.  I just got sick of listening to "STAND UP!".

This is absolutely disgusting. How those police officers thought it nessicary to use a taser on the student even once was completely out of order. What ever happened to handcuffing the felon and having two police officers carry him out. There was absolutely no need for the taser.

Also those police should have their badges taken away, not only for the above, but also:

Laila Gordy, a fourth-year economics student who was present in the library during the incident, said police officers threatened to shoot her with a Taser when she asked an officer for his name and his badge number.

As the student and the officers were struggling, bystanders repeatedly asked the police officers to stop, and at one point officers told the gathered crowd to stand back and threatened to use a Taser on anyone who got too close.

That situation could easily have gotten worse if one of the officers actually did start using the taser on the crowd.

Yea, the cops were wrong, I agree.  If misconduct is occuring, the authorities could have stopped, and no those cops weren't the highest officials.

Plus, you can't complain if your not willing to do something instead of just standing and crying "no, don't".

You're right about that, BUT imagine trying to get up after being tazed continuously. The cops weren't very smart. They might aswell just have cut his legs off, and tell him to grow them back.
