400 pixel wide userbars are okay:

And on that note, here's a userbar I made a while ago in GIMP: (I had to imitate the expensive, probably proprietary Photoshop font by hand)

Add to your signature and let the whole world know you can spell better than Michal Marcinkowski and about 75% of the Soldat population!
