I'm playing dodgeball for about 3 months and I like it much more than CTF or DM. But I noticed that there are only 2-3 good DB servers. Don't you guys like DB ? Write what you think about it.

I love Dodgeball. Dodgeball has more fast paced action than any other game. It's better than CTF, TM, DM, and all the like. But sometimes, I just like playing on RP/Story servers than dodgeball or anything else, because it's usually more action packed than anything else.

Dodgeball, though, in an overall short summary, would be one of my three favorite game modes (1.CTF, 2.RP, 3.DB)

In dodgeball, you only use knives. The map is separated into two parts. In the center there is a poly which only knives can pass through. You try to kill the other team by throwing knives as you try to dodge the knives they throw at you.

I like DB alot. I've played in only one server, but man was it fun.

Ever seen a real-life dodgeball match? Its like this only with knives.

yeah dodgeball can be quite fun! Â I however don't like it when the knives are too fast - then there really isn't any dodging skill involved... Â It would kinda be cool if you could also catch the 'ball' - maybe next version

ps: also, most db servers are too laggy to be played in...

It's actually a bit more challenging which makes it more fun.

the few times i have ever played dodgeball, i had a blast. It truly is a good game, but i still prefer a good DM, CTF, or TM over it

Well I'm a bit tired of CTF, DM and other types of game after 3 years of playing Soldat. I'm quite sure that after couple of months I'll be tired of DB too, but now it's the best gamemode for me. I only wish there were more servers...

It is differnet but it isn't something I play as often as regular Soldat games.

It lags, that's true, but it's the best DB server right now. You just need to learn how to play with lag

Yes. When I made Dodgeball, I always thought the knife is a better 'ball' than M79. However, the knife's range was too short at that time and there was no weapon modding.

you can unless it has a password, but since its a public server you can. If it has private in the name, you cant join it cause that means the admin passworded it

Would it be possible to make bots for dodgeball?

I'm in Australia, and all dial up so I can't really join any US dodgeball game without being kicked, so bots would be awesome.

thta should be a feature in the new soldat version, if ever made. also, like mentioned earlier, a special dodgeball play type would be awesome too, already come with knives going slightly faster thru air, maybe even making them look like dodgeballs. haha the possibilities

Ello i am Working on a mappack made ONLY for DB. It will have five maps each with its own sense of gameplay and each a great challange some just for fun others for those who like to show off. If any of you DB freaks out there want these maps let me know and ill personaly send them to you along with my own DB mod. Here is quick sum up on my mappack completion.

Map one: a forest with a great tree in middle.DONE

Map two: a ice cave where you slide around to gain the advantage: Work in Prgress

Map three: A Mountain where you fight in side it.done

Map four: a strange map where it has 4 Zones fun to play with four teams.Work in progress

Map five :a map where you are in a coloseum and there are many traps and stuf that hurts you good for experts.ot started

if you have a DB mod, is it full-fledge mod like halo, or is it just weapon enhancements, ie knife speed up? if it is a FF mod, make the knives dodgeballs. AWESOME
