Download Section
« on: November 25, 2006, 01:16:17 am »
I was wanting to get all the trenchwar type maps I could but I was having a hard time finding all of them in the forums so I came up with an idea. A section of the forums dedicated to d/l ing maps and mods(separate things). There would be all the ctf maps in one place and then inf and dm or so on. Then in each section for the d/ls there would be sub game modes like duckhunt maps and trenchwar maps and so on. I believe that the order would be newest to oldest or vice-versa. Maybe alphabetically. I'm not too picky. Could this be done? (I wasn't too sure where this went)

It's not such a bad idea, but it's almost as easy to do a search for "tw_" (without quotes) and check the "Topic Subjects Only" checkbox before searching. Ok that's just for trenchwar maps, but you get the idea. But I agree, it would be useful.

And, wrong section?

Note the "forum news and support" forum.... agh

And the map sections that exist pretty much are exactly 'forums dedicated to d/l ing maps'

Sorry about the location. They map sections are dedicated to d/ls but the actually d/ls are scattered throughtout the entire thing. I just thought that this would be easier thn having to do a search then go to each and every thread that contains the maps.

Well ...theres a lot of maps around here. You're gonna have to search a little no matter how we organise it. Otherwise your best alternative is one of few mapping websites.

Still, if you can think of any ingenius ways to sort out all those maps, let us know.
