sorry was to catch peoples eye
when i try and change pass with remote admin it says locked
so my freind tries to unlock from arsse but dont know command and dont know how it got locked need some help :\

I believe that the most recent versions of the server no longer make is possible to change the admin password from an admin command, it must be changed from the soldat.ini file itself.

This is to help prevent people from having their servers hijacked

either way, it says locked and not even the ARSSE controller can change it untill they put in the UNLOCK command, and its all i need to know >.<

I don't believe there is an unlock command. Using ARSSE is technically no different than doing the commands from inside the game.

I believe you just can't change the password except in the file. I will let EnEsCe or ChrisGBK post here to confirm this or post the correct answer.

thanks, im not sure whats happened but the server liek reset, im not remote admin and arsse holder cant unlock its messed :\

The lock feature disallows silly admins from changing the maxplayers and modifying a server password. By default, this feature is TURNED OFF so the server admin has turned it on obviously to disallow you from bypassing the server owners settings choices.
Its a good security measure for server hosts.

The only way to fix it, is to edit your Soldat.ini file and restart your server. Or ask an admin to remove '-lock 1' from their startup parameters, but I doubt they would remove it.
