and b/c you are a girl ;)
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

I disagree, I've seen quite a few girls that can skateboard well.

But yeah, as a nerdy, white male, I cannot skateboard for my life. The best I can do is balance for about a second before screaming bubbled curses through a bloody stream from my nose...

One of the key things is to relax. People freak out when they get on a board thinking they have to balance just right when all you gotta do it stand normal.

What the hell is with people saying they can't stand on a skateboard ? It's not any different from standing on the ground.

We'll lets put it this way...

I can skate though a downtown area from one side to another without having to get off my board.

I had a membership to a park for my senior year of high school.

Once my cousin let me on her skateboard (an old one it was like a tiny surfboard) and the road was downhill and I didn't know how to slow down so I ended up having to crouch then jumping and landing on my butt
luckily I only tore my trousers and bruised my ankles
since then I never rode another skateboard

Uhh... I can do kickflips, heelflips, manuals, hardflips, 50-50 grinds. But when I tried a pop shove it, I broke my arm. When i got out from hospital, I broke  my f'ckin' skateboard.

As I remember I could do ollie, ollie 180°, and a trick when you put your skate on a side, then step on, perform a jump flip and land on it. It's an easy trick, but looks badass. Actually I can do more with my body - sideflips, backflips, spins, flips, kicks, lot's of tricks. It's more useful than skating and you don't hurt yourself so frequent.

I can ride my craptacular skateboard down my driveway. I quit going onto AIM because this guy I met in Indiana keeps asking me if I'm still skateboarding.

Do tricks in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater count? 'Cuz I can do 900 airwalks there. :P

I just got into skateboarding a few months ago

I can't manual for more than a split second
However, I can nosemanual longer
I can do a primo
I can do a casper
I can do a switchfoot pogo

I can ollie
I can ollie over another skateboard
I can ollie over this open sewer lid on my street
I can kick flip
I can hardflip
I can double kickflip

I'm trying to learn how to do pop shove its

I'm also trying to learn to do 180 and 360 ollies

I know a ton of people who fell off skateboards once or twice and just gave up. I'm dissapointed in those people. Again, I've skated for a few months, but I've only fell on my face once, and that was when I rode down my driveway and tried to ollie over my sidewalk and into the street. But I still get up and try it again. (and not land on my face) It's an awesome hobby, and it's a lot more than "killing yourself" as some people put it.

Shove It's aren't too hard, you'll probably get it soon, and for 180 and 360 ollies it might be easier to start on a mid-low kicker to get used to the rotation, cause it's a ***** if you're moving when you try and you only go half way. Nice list of tricks there too.

I live in a terrible area road wise, so after ****ing over some nice bearings I started going to parks and doing more carving and vert stuff just for fun. If I ever get around to it I'm gonna build a 4' ramp with a 6' section with a roll-in.

Btw, anyone ever take a long board in an empty parking garage? You can go 30+ mph if it's high enough. Normal and oldschool ones are sweet too, especiall if you ride low and use your hands to make sharper turns.

I don't know a single skater who wants a group of 13 year old kids running up to them shouting "Watch me I can do a triple imposable". Then not even be able to ollie.

However, I do know someone who would do that to everyone else for a big chunk of cash.
