DM/HTF_Ridge

Description: My first try at a default style map, default scenery, texture from VirtualTT. Supports DM, HTF, RM, PM.
Recommended players: 4-8
Waypoints: No :'(

UPDATE: Added Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Spawns  ;)

I like everything except the backround, it just seems a little blank.  Maybe some scenery floating among it would help.

you need red/blue teams for htf, and all dm should support tdm.

@Wraithlike: don't think Soldat is so strict. If there are no team spawns, the teams will spawn from regular player spawns. And if there are no flag spawns or Rambo Bow spawn, it spawns them from others, or even randomly across the map. Soldat adapts ;)

Yep.  That's why most of my DM maps have no team spawns, only regular player spawns.  IMO, it adds more excitement.

But you generally want team spawns for Htf. You also in ctf spawn from nade/medkit/etc if your team has no spawns.

The only purpose for that is for waypointing convenience (HTF wypts. are coded like CTF & Inf., not DM). Otherwise regular spawns would fit well; that's why most of the current HTF maps don't portray the gamemode properly, and thus why no one plays it.

Er, sorry for carrying your thread off-topic, ultraman :P IMO, everything is nice except the weird green BG colors (they just don't fit at all with the dirty, barren atmosphere the polygons & scenery represent), and the thin walls behind the spawns, flag, and bottom section—IMO those should be greatly thickened.
