Problem starting Soldat

When i try to play Soldat i get this error message and then it quits, can anybody tell me how to fix it?

In the last two decades, political and civil rights have improved substantially throughout the world: since 1980, 81 countries have taken significant steps in democratization, with 33 military regimes replaced by civilian governments. But of these fledgling democracies, only 47 are considered full democracies today.

atl+ctrl+Delete then find Soldat then click it then click End Process

That just quits Soldat, i don't want to quit i want to play it.

I think forcing software mode sorts that problem. Shouldn't affect the game much.

Er... Check the "Force Software" option in the Soldat setup?

Anyway, it's probably not the best option. You may just need to reinstall DirectX/Video drivers or even just restart your computer or reinstall Soldat. Forcing software is usually for computers that don't have a good enough gfx card to run Soldat (lol), but have a good enough processor.

you might need to turn off anti-alising and dithering (worked for me)

All these silly suggestions....


A) Download DirectX 8/9 from http://google.com
B) Download your video card drivers from http://google.com (ATI Website or Nvidia Website)
C) As the error says, make sure you have a DirectX8 compatible video card.
D) ????
E) Profit
