winning doesn't make a game fun, winning is the end of a game, the only way it is fun it is fun is the journey to the win, it would be like me walking into a movie theatre and screaming "DON'T WORRY, SHE DIES AT THE END."

This could only make sense to a monkey wearing a santa hat.
Actually it only wouldn't make sense to a retarded 6th grader like yourself.

If you are watching a mystery or reading a book, and you know that at the end the hero saves the world but dies in vengence of his girl, there is no point in reading the book.

The best videogames bring you in to the story and make you believe that there is no hope, then victory is sweet. nobody cares about the siege of constantinople, where the Holy city fell because of outnumbering and out-gunned men. But everyone knows about how the Greeks defeated the Trojans after 7 years of not being able to capture Troy.

Meaningless victorys include stepping on an ant colony and playing trenchwars, or playing against boogie man, they just are not fun.

If trenchwars is that much more difficult, then attaining victory should be all the sweeter.

Anyways, each to their own. Try to lighten up a bit?. My comment was meant to be taken as a joke not an insult.

However, I prefer normal a little better, mainly because I dont like the fact that I have a habit of dying 3 seconds into a match and then I gotta sit around for like 2 minutes waiting for the round to end.

This is the reason im not getting CS:S on to my PC. I hate waiting or queueing for anything.
But that doesnt mean I dont play R/S. I do, but casually. Its fun sometimes on avarax's CS maps.

I can see why people don't like R/S.It's much like (dare I say it?) playing America's Army (which I really, really, hate, even though it is "R/S".Curiously,it still sits in my hard drive, eating 2 gigs): When you die,you wait.A long time. There's sometimes noobs who keep going round and round, chasing each other much like how a dog chases his own tail (at this time,I would have finished World 1 of Super Mario Bros.,without Warp Pipes XP). And other times, people just have camp wars, which is "Kinda' intense, for the patience of each other grows thin, the more bigger the conflict is.

Normal is for fast fun, fast guns. But more lag. I have a rather significant frame-rate loss when I play Normal, and a minimal loss in R/S (of course, not counting some of those biga** ctf_de maps and equinox for some strange reason).

I think that R/S is better for people who has patience (and has a portable game system or book [whatever that is]), tactical mind, and lower-end PC,due to the less lag on most maps, and without everything going all crazy and stuff.

Normal is for people who can't wait 30 seconds for a respawn (or longer, depending if the players start with "Major"), wants instant, gratifying action, and like running.
