Well, from what I've heard, your laptop is a piece of poo I can't say what's causing the problem, try booting in safe mode, I remeber having this problem a while, but I can't remeber how I fixed it Maybe go on a computer forum and post there? Maybe it's time for a new laptop numgun
I guess its not soldat related but I need help.I have a laptop with a windows xp home on it and on one day I accidently do a forced shutdown while the windows is loading up. (the windows logo and the blue train that shows when windows is loading up)Next time I boot my pc up it goes through the windows load up but stops on a screen where it says it has to do some checking. I let it do the checking and it says it deleted a few files. suddenly I get a bluescreen of death and windows does a immidiate shutdown! Next time I try to turn the pc on it brings me list in which mode do I want to run windows (Safe mode, normal mode, and few other things) I tried selecting all of them one at a time but it ended up giving me a bluescreen and shutting down the pc with no warning.
I would also say that you have successfully b0rked your laptop, and you will most likely need to format/reinstall. I also doubt that you will be able to boot, unless you have a boot disk made up.
