I made a new game mode!

At least I hope it's an original idea. I call it Ski Jump (SJ).

(The map is subject to change slightly)
Here is what I am hoping is going to be the final version:

The objective is to slide down the ski ramp in the prone position, catch the flag without hitting the pillar it is on, land on the other side, and score. You can also join the blue team who spawn in the little box above their flag and try to kill any read players by throwing knives at them as them pass under. I've been testing for about 10 minutes, and haven't managed to score very easily.

I may post the files for the map when I'm done testing if it is even possible to score, which I'm sure it is.

I've made ski jump maps before that were lame, but I never made anything like this, mine were just DM and what not.

I tested it, and managed to score! So I think it is good the way it is. But I'm going to add some effects and stuff for the final version.

Actually, the blue team can only spectate.

Bravo can attack, as I learned when I had a bot in and got killed by a grenade as I slid down the slope. Fun idea but a bit short lived, I think. Think I'll steal this idea for a CTF map though.

I said play without grenades. I'm adding one final version which rounds out the jump.

I like it. It probably has to be tweaked to get the attention of some, though...

Suggestions
1) Make it easier, but have several jumps.
2) I like the blue team being able to kill the red team. With what weapon would depend on the map, though. Barrets, knives, and laws would be the funnest weapons imho.

I'll make some more maps later. I was thinking having the Alpha and Bravo team to both have ramps. They will both need to slide down, and try to land on the same platform in the middle, where both flags are.

I am doing this with your idea actually. I am working on having the parachute drop from kz_SS-Challenge2 and your ski slope to do a kind of race CTF map for the !Elite Party server. I don't take any credit for this of course since I'm essentially stripping aspects from two maps that I think would make for a fun, different kind of CTF map.
