I've been on about this one for literally years.
So have I, I've just never said anything because I never considered it "topic-worthy"
On the other hand as simple as it is to fix it yourself, it would take mere seconds to fix this permanently, so why not do it?

Well what about those people who don't know shit about weapons? They still think that barrett is named barret.

there is no such thing as a barret...
Actually there is (Google it), but it's not the Barrett used in Soldat, so it's even more misleading :P

Maybe I should start complaining about how in the join menu you see the word "favourites", while in the player menu you see the word "colors".
No, those are both valid spellings. Sorta like "buses" and "busses".

Not quite the same. What Vis is referring to is a lack of consistency in the choice of English usage in the game. "Favourite" is the British Enlish spelling, while "color" is the American English version.

It's pronounced "Bare Ett", not "behr-it", just in case you're wondering, or plain don't know.
It's also a slow push into your shoulder, not a collar-bone breakin' recoil machine.

I'm here to complain about the AK-74. The in-game AK-74 clearly looks like the AK-47. I demand the name be changed, because I'm way too lazy to open up notepad and change two characters.

What if a person who played Soldat had a spelling test and the word Barrett was chosen?

I think this should be fixed.
I am surprised how many replies there are to this.
The correct spelling is "Barrett," so it should be changed.

Folding Stock. Non-existent on the original AK-47. That's why the interface shows it without a stock: It's folded away.

Four year old is either extremely sarcastic or extremely....stupid. Like a real four year old. His last post shows it.

And....I support. One freaking letter. How hard is that to change?

However, with how busy MM is, I'd bet he DOESN'T have time to do it. Even if it takes a few seconds. Poor guy. Maybe we should go help him out there in Poland...

Sure it does make the game unique, but I REALLY don't like typos.

And, stimpy, I DO GIVE A F***ING S**T!!! SHUT UP!!!

Whoo, that felt good.
Don't say that you're Magic. Because you aren't, and I am.
All-around good with weapons that aren't long range, except in TW.
Now be careful out there, soldier.
