Why do you get your mods? I use some mods to increase weapon skill. For example: Megaman Mod. I totally pwned with the ruger due to the increased shot width making aiming easier . Which mods do you use?

I use the default mod because uh, I just cbf downloading any other ones, wouldn't it be classed as a type of cheat even a very low grade cheat atleast if your mod gave you an advantage?

I get mine because I like to change the feel of the game every now and then. Using the same mod for too long gets boring, for me at least, so I like to try out some new stuff every so often. I don't use mods to gain any advantage though (apart from coloured nades, maybe).

Indeed. I use this to my advantage [the psychological part I mean] and use music that gives me rushes to increase my elite gaming skills [cough]. ^^

Different mods do make me behave differently with the weapons they modify, yes... For instance, the default Steyr seems a little odd somehow, but if it's modded into an M4, even if the performance isn't changed, it seems easier to use. I guess. Or something. I suppose the same thing applies to most of the Mega Man mod as DM posted.

Mega Man has a couple of other benefits, too, as I think of it... for instance, jumping and landing sounds are actually audible, so it's easier to spot a Predator coming at you. On that note, any mod that uses a chainsaw gunflare will spoil the fun of Predator chainsawers.

I hardly ever play default Soldat anymore. I play on my own version of Field Marshal's Spec OPs mod, I changed most of the sounds, and I use 1 set of weapons, it works pretty well :>

I use many different mods and regularly change it up just for a bit of variety, it makes the game more interesting.  my latest favourite is the new WWII mod.

warhammer 40k mod. But i jazz it up with some weapons + gosteks from otehr mods. so on the menu thing i can pick what i want

I barely use mods.I don't like copying and pasting, then going back, then copying and pasting again. I like those mods where you can install them, so you can use them seperately.

On another note, mods like Halo 3.5 can be used as a dedicated server, and default Soldat can be used to play in said dedicated server. (well,at least that's what my friend told me.I'll figure it out)

Meh. That makes all mod-makers cheater-makers don't you think if you use that logic? You calling all mod-makers cheat makers eh? Calling Field Marshal a cheat-maker?

Today I am using my customized mod. It is actually the Soldat Evolved mod but I made some changes to it to make it look better.
